IFS Toy, need to replace a bad CV. Have the 12mm bolt removed from the end of the CV but the CV shaft is very much stuck in there. Tried a little pounding, but don't want to mushroom the end so the splines bind.
I know there's a little C-clip in there that usually can pop out, I don't know if thats the bind or if it's just friction.
I can't remember, if you remove the whole locking hub from the wheel, does it expose that C-clip? i'd rather not go through the fight with those !@#$ cone washers and remove the whole hub if it isn't going to buy me anything here.
