Left turn signal and brake light have both stopped working, yet the constant-on driving light and backups lights do. Bulbs are good.
The brakes and driving lights are 1 bulb w/ 2 filaments, 3 wires.

I have this vague feeling I read somewhere that these trucks' turn signals switch the ground, not "hot". Is it the same case for the brakes?
Since it's both at once, I'm assuming it's something farther in...?

Ha Ha Ha. Good one.

Dave, I believe the power is the switched side. On the pickups, all of the rear wires run down the passenger side and hit those lights first, then to the driver side. The brake lights are tied together as well as the running lights, and backup lights. The only thing that carries its own wire all the way back is the left turn signal. Does the truck have trailer light hookup? I would be willing to bet that there is a gremlin between the passenger side and driver side.

Thanks for the reminder though, I've got bigger shit to fix on that pile.
That pic does make me laugh.

Good to know. I said "left" but to clarify it's the driver's side.

I haven't found any trailer hookup, this thing was barely used when we acquired it, may not have ever had a trailer on it (75k on clock now). However it has what looks to be a factory step bumper with the holes for dropping a hitch ball through, rated a wopping 350lbs weight lol.

Actually the reason I need to fix this though is b/c I need to add trailer wiring to pull a u-haul.
