Need help figuring out how to get a kustom wiring harness for a 96 toyota tacoma 2.7liter efi engine. I have computer and engine side wiring harness. Going in sammi (x-tra large small scale) If anybody can point me in the right direction start, pointing. I have the wiring diagram for the powerside plug and marked all the wire locations but thats not all the plugs from engine missing dont know what. Lc engineering offers sds fuel managment system for $1400.00 but there has to be a better way with all i have.:beer:

a little confused on what your missing, if you have the harness and computer thats all you need. unless maybe airflow meter is not in harness. what exactly are you missing if you need someone to wire it you can bring it to me ill do it for alot less than $1400

toy harness

On the engine side there are two giant plugs that are full of more wires than the computer "bout" that probably run to relay panels or fuse boxes the plugs run to the inside of the cab.

there are going to be body control wires in the engine harness, Check engine light, oil pressure, coolant temp, tach possibly speedo, fuel pump, alt charge light, abs light,4wd light, starter soleniod wire, there is alot. also they could be tranny plugs for an auto mixed in there. If you have computer and a full harness. all you have to do is plug computer in and manually wire the rest throuigh the harness. Also i believe the AFM gets a direct ground from igniton switch also not through the comp.

Mega squirt II

I was looking at a mega squirt II kit for my toy motor, anybody ever have any dealing with this Comp?
It looks to be a "Do it your self "stand alone engine managment system, looks pretty tech. I might have to try one just to know its capabilities looks interesting. Checc It.....

I've installed 6 of their systems. Definatly really cool and reliable, you need to know fuel and ignitions systems pretty well and they are alot more work than a factory harness. There's alot on their forum website www.msefi.com

2 of the systems were for my own vehicle and the others for customers (a turbo VW, twin turbo mustang, supercharged boat, turbo celica, 1968 Chevelle with trans control, turbo jetski(still a work in progress))
