Ive got a 1985 toyota 4runner with a bad miss i can't find. So far ive tried different mass air, changed plugs, wires, fuel filter, igniter. Please anybody help. Ive listened to injectors all sound like they click good. The only thing that i can think of is a burnt valve. Anybody please help, i miss my baby!!!! Oh yea its a 22re. Stock from what i can tell. I also checked compression it has 150lbs all cylinders.

if you're getting 150psi from all 4cyl, it's doubtful you have a burnt valve. ever changed the injectors ? possibly one is plugged up, causing a lean condition ( which WILL lead to a burnt valve )

injectors aren't cheap, some places require a core. odds are they are original, and even if they have been "cleaned" doesn't mean they are functioning properly

when is it misfiring ? idle ? mid throttle ? pull plug wires to try and isolate which cyl, at least then you have a concentrated area to look.

I've had problems with ignition coil breaking down as well, swapped in an Accel super stock and all was well ( was cheap and available, not necessarily the best )

I sent my injectors to fuelinjectorconnection.com and had good results. Its worth the $$ IMO.
