A/C has gotten to where it works pretty much only on high. It's hit or miss on working on the other three speed settings. I have seen that it is the resistor. Replaced that a couple times and it would work briefly and would then quit (except for high) again. Replaced the blower motor and it worked fine for two days and now back to hit or miss. Any thoughts?

have you changed the cabin filter ? ( gotta ask, it gets missed more than you think )

is the connector to the blower motor or resistor module ok? not deformed or discolored ?

are you using Toyota parts or aftermarket ?

My dollar is in the blower connector being electrically compromised. Might just have lost contact tension if it's not really melted. Especially considering it either 2 days after plugging it in.

Ues filter has been changed and that's just a routine maintenance thing. The connections seem ok. Using after market parts but the problem has been the same either way. Have actually swapped the original stuff back in just to make sure that the after market wasn't defective, also the reason I have swapped out two of the resistors. I'll double check again with the connections. Thanks

High speed is direct voltage, full 12.6-13.8vdc when engine is running and alternator is charging.
Each slower speed is an added resistance. Are the Resistors cracked or baked looking when you pull them out ?
Yes the filter is a maintenance thing, you would be surprised how often they DO NOT get changed.
No air flow will cause a fan resistor to over heat and fail. Make sure there isn’t some other sort of air obstruction in the blower case.
