Rotors for IFS hubs bolt to the back of the hub, you'll need to drill that pattern into the new rotor. Personally for all the trouble I'd just run spacers, or buy a TG/Diamond/Ruffstuff housing.

I didnt see this till i bought the rotors....or i wouldve done the tacoma swap they do. But not shipping rotors back too expensive

The internet is covered up with people doing this an the tacoma brake swap...didn't know if anyone on here done it

My toyota has ifs hubs and calipers with taco rotors slipped over the hub. The caliper is just mounted to the front side of the ears with a through bolt and nut. I have no problems. Works great and I can access the spindle bolts without having to mess with the bearings.

If I were make a toyota axle wider again I would do like @drkelly and use the housing spacers. Especially if you haven't bought axle shafts yet.

Glad to hear there’s no problems mounting the caliper to the front side of the ears.... that axle build is cool but I’m almost done with mine rotors hubs an I’m done

I ran 2" backspaced 15x8 wheels on my Samurai, and didn't like the huge offset. It creates negative handling problems. When I decided to swap Yota axles under my rig I didn't want to deal with the large scrub radius that shallow back spaced rims, wheel spacers, or IFS hubs create. I still haven't finished my axle build.

Ok so bringing this up again because I’m a lil confused after a trip to advance...I asked the guy if I could see a rotor for a 94 pickup...he took it out of the box an it had no extra holes for bolting it to the hub....so what’s the deal...he was of Spanish decent so he might not have understood what I was wanting

Just clarifying some things. If you are doing the swap with IFS calipers and LC rotors you have to drill 2 additional holes into the LC rotors to bolt to the hub. Its fairly easy. Most people just turn down the IFS hubs though so that Tacoma rotors just slip over them which is what I plan on doing for mines. Plus it makes pulling the shafts a hell of a lot easier. I actually just finished disassembling my IFS hubs. Just need to take them to work and turn them down on the lathe.

Bringing this back.... done the mod today haven’t got the calipers on yet but done the rotors with the hubs.... it’s simple was putting way to much thought into it
