ok fellas starting to prep my axle for the sas swap an need some info. If looked on google an set a email to All Pro since that’s where my kit will come from an not found my answer. So what all gets cut off the axle? Or what do I leave? I know I leave the leaf pads or whatever they called but what else stays

What they said. Also beware, the stock shock mounts on my axle did not fit my bilstein ends well. Always a pain to reinstall.

I did capped steering stops, knuckle brace kit, shock mount, top truss, and full front diff cover on my 85 axle last time around.

When I did mine I cut everything but the spring perches and steering stops off and ground it clean. Use the knuckle ball gusset kit with the shock mounts built in. They're well worth the price.
