toyota dd

Looks really good, I think that's how Toyota's end up. First you say I'm just gonna SAS it and dd it. Then you end up changing some stuff and eventually you end up with something that more resembles a jungle gym rather than a Yota.

its still driveable on the road the motor has just gotten to where it smokes pretty bad when i let it idle, i just wanna wait to rebuild it till next winter

well i figured ide update some i put spools from ecgs in the front and back after breaking both lockers after that i decided i needed full hydro

after some help from stuntman autoworks dirkadirka875 untchabl we got it back to the trailer. the problem was the axle end mount which was welded to the "diff cover" ripped the housing a apart so i ordered the barnes differential cover and im gonna build a ba mount so it never happens again, ill post some pics as it goes on http://www.nc4x4.com/forum/index.php?threads/barnes-4wd-toyota-differental-cover.120265/

Good meeting you and your buddy yesterday, sucks it was cause you were broke. Glad you were able to get it back to the parking lot. The Barnes cover should solve the issue.

btw broke goin down hill at idle rolled over a little ledge with the driver tire and pop

hope it does, im gonna really reinforce the mount too. it was good to meet yall too when i get back goin and yall get your rigs back to gether we'll have to go wheelin

yeah im puttin that barnes cover on and gonna have alot of weld surface, that was just a premade mount that was included not good enough at all

got my axle back from marsfab he welded the barnes cover ram mount and knuckle gussets on and did a great job ill post some up of that tommorow after i paint it his welds always impress me. heres a little side project i did that turned out pretty cool im ready to test them on the trail ai357.photobucket.com_albums_oo20_jrea42_toyotalights3_zpsce9f74d5.jpg

didnt even have to drill a hole and they lined up pretty good in the grill cant complain for $110 with nice wiring and all around great constuction

Yay somebody had the idea I had and did it before me so I could see how it looked. Looks like the runner will get leds for headlights.

its way cheaper than going with hella housings and hids i like it

got to axle painted and installed i know i need to work on the geometry some but i like this alot better than before

Did the ifs hub with taco rotors and late ifs v6 calipers. Pretty happy with the fit and finish and the fact i basically have unit bearing if anyone wants the specific how to, parts list lemme know. It stops quicker than a hooker when she realizes your broke

Also built a battery box for my group 65 battery i had shoe horned into the stock hole, ill be buying a deca when i have an extra $150 layin around
