Anybody ran them on a DD? I'm wondering how quality, 1" ( if they make them ). would they effect steering and bodyroll w 4" springs and stock swaybar w 33 12.50 15s on a shortbed regularcab ? I would like more articulation and lift to match my rear w about 5" now, 2" springs-3" blocks in the rear but don't want any steering or handling problems. Any front shackle wisdom appreciated.

Technically adding any length to teh front of the shackles w/o doing anything else will affect the steering caster, b/c it is rotating the axle towards the rear.
No idea what the practical effect of just 1" is, you could do the math and figure out the change in degrees of angle though.

The shackles are on the rear of the front springs, so I assume the slight rotation of the pinion/caster downward would help w wide tire wear on the steet? would I expect any increase in articulation or does that depend more on the softness of the new 4" springs?

Oh, and thankyou for the reply RatLabguy
