....holds a round stud on the backside/outside side of the headlight and snaps into a flange on the front fender. Where in the hell can I find one? A deer decided to commit suicide by jumping in front of the car and now the right headlight is blinding oncoming traffic. Where or can I found this plastic pop in besides toyota?

Post a picture.

Its a rectangular, plastic module that snaps into a rectangular hole on a flange on the front of fender right behind the outside/turn signal side of the 3 bulb headlight. The headlight has a tab that snaps in to the plastic grill on the grill side, 2 screw/tabs on the top of the headlight, and a plunger type stud that sticks out of the backside of the headlight and snaps into the module in the fender, the plastic piece is gone. I can see the one on the driver side, it's a simple square plastic snap in retainer that should cost $ 2 if i can find it.

It basically looks like a small Lego or a plastic license plate holder, that snaps into a squarish hole in the flange on the fender.

Another question............As far as I can tell there is no way to adjust/aim the headlight on this toyota besides adding washers or shims to the mounts or bending the part of the chassis that holds the headlights, WTF? ......what ever happened to headlight mounts that can be adjusted to throw the light where it should be?

The lens housing assembly can usually move with adjusters between it and the bracket. They're there, but they my be hiding from easy view. Look on the backside of the lens housing assembly.

You should be able to find an online parts catalog and drill down to the right subsection of parts to find that proper number for that bracket clip. You never posted year/model.

The other light and this one were just fastened to the chassis and I see no adjusters at all, I assume some washers or shims could adjust the up/down/left/right but the lights just hang from 2 tabs on top and the grommets on each side , and I see I can buy 6 of the grommets for $16. $16 for 6 pieces of plastic that probly cost 30 cents to make......... WTF :kaioken: I'm gonna go by a body shop and ask for one, that's all I need
