toyota rear axle

did any 88-90 yota come with a posi/ limited slip rear? got a buddy who just got one. he said that the guy swapped out the axle. my buddy said that he popped the clutch and both tires spun. i figured that it spun was cause he popped it. i dont know anything about yota. i'm a jeep guy.

None came with a limited slip or anything till the e locker in 97 or 98. Both tires spun cause they both had equal amounts of (non) traction. Pretty impressive for a toyota to spin tires at all! Mine will bark them a bit but that's just cause of the locker.
