I an doing a SAS on my 91 toyota, I was wondering what is the best SAS for the money. I am looking for something a little cheaper then ALL PRO but I like it alot. I will not be rock riding, most of the time I will be playin in the mud and riding in the hunting club.

This should probably be in newbie tech. Most of the kits are the same when you are talking about leaf spring SAS kits, they all come with similar parts. Trail-gear is the cheapest and I've had great customer service from them but a lot of toyota people prefer marlin or all-pro, lots of drama between the three.

Trail-Gear will have the cheapest kit and IMO the best springs. Trail-Gear built their springs to accommodate 3 different driving styles. 3" spring is more of a street spring and will be a little stiffer, 4" is a street/trail spring that is a happy medium and the 5" is a soft trail spring. All-pros springs tend to take a while to break in and get soft but i dont know as much about their product. Marlins springs are about on the same level of Trail-Gear IMO. The rest is tubing a plate steel which is basically all the same. If you wanted to run a 35" tire i'd run the 3" Trail-Gear kit. http://www.trail-gear.com/sas.html
We're also a trail-gear dealer, PM if you would like a quote....

I have a 85 toyota that I use just for mudd racing and it has a superlift 3in springs and 3in body and 37 boggers, they are tight on it. I dont want to put a body lift on the 91 and want to run 35 or 36s. what size springs do i need?

If you dont mind piecing some stuff together...

Yota SFA
Stock Yota Rears
Spring hanger kit
Banana Shackles
Shock hoops
14" Bilsteins or similar travel shock
High Steer Kit
Steering Box Brace

IMO that setup is the best bang for your buck and can save you some $$$ if you shop around.
