welded on rear shock mounts for the rear axle yesterday. i am using the stock mounts on the frame for the top, but since i changed the diff angle i needed to put new mounts on the axle housing. i assumed they should be parallel to the floor, the pass side facing backwards and the driver side facing forwards to use the stock frame mounts. when i put the shocks on the pass side barely has any of the shock extended. anyone have any pics of discription of mountinng shocks using stock frame mounts on a first gen runner? i feel like these shocks are ganna bottom out.

I welded mine to the top of the axle. If you are using the stock shocks, remember that they were originally mounted to the plate that bolted to the underside of the axle, so you've shortened that by at least a couple of inches. Probably time to get new shocks.
