So there is a thread for the jeeps, what do i need to take with me? This is my first year of wheeling:driver:, so learn me something. I have an 88 toyota pickup, pretty much stock as far as the suspension, later on in the year i hope to have a sas done.

I wouldn't worry about it...it's a Toyota. You could use the extra room to carry some extra jeep parts the folks are mentioning from the other thread. Then you could make some extra $ by selling them to jeep owners on the trail.

Carry a spare CV axle for the front and a u-joint or two and wheel it man!

Bring a spare rig. hahah Kidding.. I'd like to know this info as well.

One thing I've seen break on more than one occasion on Toyotas has been the lockable hubs. Good idea to carry spares?

The parts better be cheap, cause thats why I wheel a Jeep :fuck-you::beer::lol: Can't afford a Yota.

Most of the time people let the nuts get loose and it sheers them off, but the hub its self is still fine.

right now one of mine is wanting to pop a little when locked in, but not much. anything to worry about?

I wheel the pee out of my yota. As far as spare parts, um there's a spare tire under the rear of it...But I've never used it.

Tow strap to yank the heeps out. Carry a front shaft, spare hub assy, driveshaft bolts, fluids, belts and tools. If you wheel it lightly, all you need is a Sun Drop and a good radio!

Hmmmm. A stark contrast to the Heep thread. Kinda makes you wonder doesn't it?

Well, not really.:flipoff2:
