I found one hole on my case was stripped out.

Whats the best way to address this ? Which bolt size would be good to step up to? I've never done a heli-coil how well do those work?

I'm not sure of what size to step up to but I do know that helicoil have been know to pull out. I'd just go with what ever you can get a hold of and step it up a size.

i would just run a heli coil we use them all the time at the shop just use some red lock tight and it will be fine!! all u have to do is but the kit and its a smiple install

If you figure out what size Helicoil you need Mike let me know. I have 2-3 sizes, might save you from having to buy a kit.

Helicoil will be just fine. I doubt you'll be putting enough torque on it to pull it out. I've never had a problem with them myself.
