toyota twin stick ?

I rebuilt my rear case and removed the shift interlock pill so i could twin stick it. I like being able to shift from 2 to 4wd low range but it it keeps popping out of 4wd. Is this a common problem? I built my own twin stick so that could or could not be the problem. Any suggestions ? My old twin sticked dana 300 did this and it drove me crazy.

I would recheck the other 2 shift balls and springs. If they are missing it would allow the shifter to shift out of gear.

springs and detent balls are there, maybe hd springs would help?
