toyota winch plate

Was thinking about trying to rig my own winch plate for my toyota, Something I could remove when I'm not wheeling. I have plenty of steel and can weld, just need some ideas.

The truck is an 88 4runner
the winch is a Warn with integrated sel

x2 on this. It's a pretty good, simple, design.
if I had the tools to weld .250 steel I'd make it like that - but I just bought one instead.
 
Weld a receiver tube on the front bumper (assuming you already have a decent bumper) and pick up the $40 harbor freight cradle that slides into the 2" receiver. Can't beat it. You can get the receiver tube there too.
