Has anybody ever heard of TPD trailers? They have a steel frame with floor and all body panels made of carbon fiber composite material.

I'm looking at a 26' triple axle trailer.

Mike

sounds expensive.

I don't think they're carbon fiber. They're actually FRP -- fiber-reinforced plywood. It's still a composite material, but there's no actual aramid in it.

I think you're right. The dealer information went into detail on how they make the walls.

I bought the trailer I mentioned. I will be picking it up this weekend.

Cool. Post some pictures. They look pretty nice.

I can't post photos. I was going to try to post photos of my son's K-5 Blazer but apparently my ID is not set up for that.

What is required to post photos?

Mike

Oh, if you want to post pictures directly to the board, you need to read this.

But if you have photos hosted someplace else (personal website, webshots, etc) you can link them from here with
tags around the url.

My 4x4s have few mods. I like big block 4x4 Suburbans, and my son has a stock K-5.

I'm more into Pontiac musclecars, and own a number of 70-74 Pontiac Formulas and Trans Ams and a few GTOs.

The trailer will house an 02 Sunset Orange Trans Am WS6 convertible with a 6-spd when not going to a show. I bought it to go to shows such as the Trans Am Nationals and GTO Nationals.
