Track Bar movement

So i have the classic xj shimmy/wobble and my trackbar is moving around in the axle side bracket. Its a RE1660 bar with the appropriate drop bracket. Does anyone have a better (but still quickish) solution then welding a grade 8 washer onto the bracket?

Drill out to 7/16" is your other option...

buy the replacement bushing and sleeve made for a 1/2" bolt and drill it out.

So the hole was already drilled to 1/2". I put a 1/2" grade 8 bolt in it, but havent been able to put it all back together because of the stupid rain. Did jeep start using a larger bolt after a certain year?

Nope, all XJs (and many other models)were 10mm from the factory. Someone has already beaten you to the punch so to speak.
