I am thinking about removing the track bars on my 94 wrangler.
Has anyone done this I dont see anyreason for leafs and a track bar. But I guess they put it there for a reaon. any info would be apreciated.

been without them for a looong time. from a 4" sprung under lift, to 44 front 14bt soa, now with a 60 front.....never had a problem not having them....shackle reversal helped road manners also

I also removed mine. One of the editors at JP recommended removing them to save the frame from getting the mounts ripped out.

IIRC, they were installed in order to give the YJ more car like handling. Not necessary on the YJ due to the leaf springs just like the CAD D30 served the same function as the NP231.

Maybe, but mine doesn't ride any differently since I removed them. Also, I thought the wider, longer springs were to improve the on road ride.
