I am building a traction bar for my heep. I bought the standard 3/4 rod ends from blue torch and their brackets for the 14 bolt. Will I need to use misalignment spacers on these or do you guys think it will be ok. I will be using rod ends at all three attatch points. I am just worried that they will bind up.

You *shouldn't* need them in this app.

..I would tend to agree, the only place you might need em would be at the frame mount..........if you need some misalignment you can use the 3/4 spacers they sell at Lowes and cut em to length....

I didnt think I would just wanted some more opinions on it. I did see the 3/4 spacers at lowes today, i think ill do that at the frame mount. Thanks fellas

if your frame mount is a shackle-type, a hint - don't go out of your way trying to prevent the heim from moving side to side.

Where are the 3/4 spacers at lowes? I didn't know they had them

I think he's just talking about spacer sleeves. They're in hardware, in one of the drawers with nuts and bolts.

yeah i saw them in the specialty section
