Anyone ever run A tractor style, vertical exhaust? I was At the tractor supply down in York S.C. today, looking around I found A muffler for A tractor. Even A flapper cap. I almost drooled on myself, wouldn't that look perfect on my Heep. Since I have removed my fenders, it would be easy to run, from where the "A"piperuns across to the passenger side, just before it turns rearward, then up over the frame, under the battery, then straight up. It would terminate about 8" o 10" above the wind shield. I could fab some brackets ,& bolt to the fender holes on the front edge of the tub. Only thing is, will I get A ticket. It will need to stand up to abuse, such as mild jumps Etc. anybody know if S.C. vehicle code would allow such A mod? I would really like to do this, no kidding around! Imagine how cool it would sound, & look with the flapper pegged open, going down the road/ trail. Or with the flapper bouncing @ idle.
