Saturday June 18th sections of the following trails will be closed/under traffic control due to trail construction/repair by the Forest Service/Volunteers for varying periods of time between 10:30AM-6:00PM:

Slab Pile Trail
Rocky Mountain Loop Trail
Dutch John Trail

Different sections of the above trails will be closed for multiple periods of time lasting up to an hour or longer. In some work areas as such on Rocky Mountain Loop there may be opportunities to allow traffic through the construction zones. If you come across a construction area on the above trails please be patient and if possible we will get you through when the work area is clear. If not we will help you get turned around and find an alternate trail to ride to take where ever you are headed.

Keep in mind the construction/repairs going on will involve grading, bridge removal, building rock crossings, and other activities that involve an extended period of time blocking the trail using multiple pieces of heavy equipment. Unless absolutely deemed necessary by the Forest Service we will not block off more than one section of one trail at time. Multiple trails should not be blocked off at the same time. So if Slab Pile is currently blocked, you shouldn't have any issues on Dutch John or Rocky Mountain Loop etc.

Thank you for your patience in this matter during Father's Day weekend. The work we are doing is an effort to keep the trails open for our future use, and the following generations future use.
