ok, 93 yj, 4.o, manual, has 3.07 gears, locked in rear, 31 inch tires. it has a lot of performance mods, jacobs ign, flexalite fan kit, borla headers and exhaust, cold intake, mean green stuff, somebody got carried away before i bought it, so lots of power even with 3.07 gears. problem is that the throttle is so sensitive that it jerks really bad, up and down. throttle is way to sensitive. any suggestions. this interfears with just normal trail riding. thanks in advance.

You can change the length of the pull on the throttle. Longer lever arm on the engine side will reduce the sensitivity. Shorter on the pedal will do the same. I would also check the throttle cable to make sure it isn't sticking. Mine had a little dirt in it and the throttle cable became an on/off switch. Nothing like crawling up a big rock and the throttle going wide open. Especially when the springs aren't strong enough to pull it back.
