So I think I have another bent axle. The front was bent with no brakes a few years back. I found the u bolt had been over tightened and dented the tube. So I replaced it. I now believe the back axle is bent which is a brake axle. Excuse to upgrade trailers. Well @Jody Treadway said at Gulches why not just upgrade axles? I looked into it and a 6 lug set up was almost $3K. Then this popped up on FB in my feed. So it's and angle iron trailer built to haul cars and with my jeep on it it weighs 6440. If the leaf springs fit my mounts is there any reason not to try it? they are $600 for the set.

Tandem axles off of a 40 ft. 5th wheel camper.

If the springs dont fit, move perches or whatever you need to do to make them work. It's a 2.5 year old set of 5000lb axles for $600.

They are 25.5" same as mine. Need to see what the width is but my google search on the numbers isn't finding the axles.
