I bust trailer brake lights too often . I replace them frequently. Anyone got source cheaper than $25 pair at tractor supply?

What kind? Grommet or the old school square boxes?

This trailer is too narrow for the load it hauls occasionally. Tires literally sit half on half off

Hmm... In that case, weld on a steel box for grommet lights? Or maybe a piece of 3"x3" angle a foot long and install the light under that?

Dammit, I know that's right.
But the thing is this one trailer ( we have 4) gets used 99% on the time to haul hay, atvs or lawn mower. However occasionally graded puts a tractor on it, or my son loads a truck on it...and new lights. I can't bring my lazy ass to fab lights.

Was putting lights on the other trailer last night and noticed these were broke again

Horrible fright has a set comparable. I never worry about lights now. Put on before leaving, remove before unloading. I've been known to back into trees, junk cars, load stuff too wide for the trailer.. and I can use them on Any trailer.

Ordered the steel boxed ovals...will see how they hold up.

Biggest concer is when pops loads his tractor on our small trailer. We've got a GN and a diesel for the big shot, but the truck is old and manual. He likes his air seats, and shoit so hell hook up to the mid size bumper trailer and wreak havoc.
