Trailer for a lightweight rig

i like how he posted 4 nearly identical pictures of the same boat, rather than teh other boat. You know that's a winner there.

uhm....let's use RatLabs "hypothetical situation" technique.

I might have known some one a long time ago who had a boat that needed to be disposed of. that person might have picked up some innertubes and a group of drunk buddies and headed down the river in said boat. at some point in time said boat may or may not have been uhm....sunk.

that may not have been the most eco friendly thing to do but it **sounds like** it was fun as hell.

a more legal way to dispose of such a boat would probably be to break out the sawsall and chop it up and take it to the dump.

Oddly enough, totalled boats on the lake and such often get sent to a watery grave. It's proper procedure. My Dad had to ditch his sailboat after Hugo. They towed it out and sunk it. Lake Norman. I believe it was Davis Marina that did it for him.

oh...in that case....

It was one the most fun things i have ever done. it was one of the last out door trips i did with my buddies after graduating high school.

i had on old elgin, maybe 12-14 feet. we spray painted all kinds of graffiti on it, stripped it down to the hull, got a few wooden oars and headed down river. about mid trip when we found a deep spot so we started beating holes in the hull and everyone was in boat with the inner tubes around our waistes waiting for it to sink. we finished out the trip in the tubes.

Wait a minute - your hypothetical situation was REAL?

Ummm...I'm sure there's a "right" and "wrong" way to do it! ;)
