Trailer titling ?

I’m looking at a stock trailer in Oklahoma to buy before I move to NC. It comes with a notarized bill of sale cause in Ok they don’t plate certain trailers and this is one of them. How will I get plates and a title in NC. Thanks

Better than telling you wrong, I suggest you look it up, under NCDMV. Should be some section for title transfers, & out of state.

IIRC in NC you either have to have a title or CO to get a tag. Otherwise you would be going though getting a bonded title, which is a pain in the ass and expensive.

Hell, half of the people around here run around without a tag anyway!
