friend has a trailer and his wife ran over the plugin for the electric brakes and lights with a lawnmower. How expensive is it to repair this and how hard is it to do? I want to buy it, but I don't want to break the bank to repair it, because he wants 1000.00 for the trailer as is. And the wood floor could use a replacing, but will work for now. I only have 1000.00 at this time and wanted to know if it is worth it ,or if someone else has something for sale in this range that i don't have to work on.

You can pick the plug up at a Northern for about $14.00 and it should only take a few minutes to neatly replace the old one with it. -steve

Here's a standard diaghram for trailer wiring, in case you need it.
