Transmission help!

Does anyone know if a transmision off of a 98 jeep cherokee (inline 6) will fit a 95 grand cherokee for sure?? I've heard different opinions but noone seems to know what they are talking about need to know for sure.. thanks:)
 
The XJ uses an AW4 auto, where the 95Grand would use a 42RH (assuming its a 4.0 also). They will not interchange due to wiring and computer control differences. No, you cannot make it work. 100% sure.
