Transmission info

same bellhousing pattern. same convortor pattern.

some years had non shift switch on side of tranny some did. 95-up needs shift switch on tranny.

ad around 98 i think thay went to split location tranny cooler lines. no longer paired together on the tranny case. better cooling flow.
 
diffrent tourqe convortor stall speeds. but basicly yes.

and unless you know the whole history and drove it first i wouldnt trust a used auto tranny. seen to many and swaped to many that were no good once in and drove.

just find a good reman person or create tranny with warrenty.
 
k that then needs a new to you tranny.

ask them if the used has warrenty and what does it cover if bad like labor to remove and install. and does it come with a can of cooler flush to rinse the lines and cooler before you install and run the tranny.
 
big popular tranny.

like tryin to find 400 tranny not as easy .
 
They're really not hard to rebuild, might wanna research that and give it a shot.
 
and if you dont have the right tools for parts of the reman job you can get hurt real fast.

unless you have done a few and know your limits then watch and learn from someone who knows how to do it. :popcorn:
