In need a transmission jack to get my trans back in next weekend.
I whipped up a floor jack cradle ahead of time with some 3/8" flat steel and some hangers for the ratchet straps...but was a struggle getting the transmission down and I get twitches thinking about having to finesse it back in with that pile.
Anybody have one they'll lend me or know of a rental place in the Fuquay/Raleigh area that has one available.
Thanks for the help

Haaa Actually I loaned it out for free and someone didn't bring it back when they said they would and I ended up buying a 2nd one. I have the scissor kind and the one that goes onto a regular floor jack.. Kampgnar, your welcome to barrow one or both if you feel like driving to Wake Forest...

I apologized, man. Sometimes working full time and taking a full load of classes makes things slip my mind.

If you consider buying one, I recommend this one:

My buddy and I have used it several times and it works great. Use a rachet strap instead of that bogus chain though.

Don't let him off that easy.
You should take him out back and kick him around a few times.

If for nothing else, it will be amusing on youtube.
