Transmission swap

[85 toy]

A co-worker has a 1972 C10 pickup with a powerglide trans. He bought a 700R4 out of a 1996 Camaro. What is involved in this swap? I am pretty sure there is more to it than just swapping them out.

V8 or v6 camaro? If v6 it wont work.

Crossmember will have to be moved, new torque converter, tv cable will have to be hooked up and drive shaft shortened...... not much really!!
