Hi all I have a question I've got a 99 tj with only 1 key and went to dealer to get another key cut they told it would cost 100 bucks I asked if that came with a kiss cause usually I get a kiss when I get screwed. any ideas where I can get a key made cheaper?

You can get a key made anywhere for about $5.

It won't start the truck, though.

Local hardware store here does them for $50. Check around in your area.

Bought the keys off ebay several years ago, dealer programed them for pretty cheap.

Was it my dealer, Skyland Automotive? If so, I've been known to really take care of NC4X4 members. That is until they insult my place of work...

We gotta pay the bills man. Our scan tool used to program the key is $7000. Lemme know if I can help.
