trany swap??

OK this may seem like a dumb question but I'm sort of new to this and was just wondering.

I am looking to buy a cherokee in the future and I would really rather drive a stick than an auto but unfortunately there isn't a lot of cheep cherokee sticks around. Is it a big deal to buy a cheap auto cherokee then go to a junk yard and get a manual trany, clutch, linkage, pedal...etc and switch it out. Or is that just impossible.

I'd say yes but have never done it. Can't beat those AW4's on or off the road. Hand shift if you want more control.

it is possible but a headace the hardest par is geting the clutch pedal in fo me any ways
