I've got a 01 Chevy K2500, 6.0L gasser, 4L80E.

The question I've got is there a plug ang play, LARGER transmission cooler for this application.

I know that I can hack and tap the lines, Would prefer not to do this. Would rather use factory location, and connections.

Have seen these Tru-Cool

Have any of you used these?

Post this question over in the truck section of LS1TECH.COM. You should get several responses over there.

The 4L80E in your truck is pretty stout as is. There is one guy on that site running a turbocharged 408 pumping 1000 ft lbs of torque through a built 4L80E.

Doug - that cooler you pictured looks very similar to what's on my Dodge.. Outta work well, but I'm surprised that the factory cooler isn't good enough? What are your temps?
