Travel fly fishing rod?

Probably doesn't exist but figured I'd ask. I haven't fly fished in years, but we are going to Yellowstone in a few weeks and I'd like to show my boys how to do it while out there. My rods are too long to pack in a suitcase, so wondering if anyone knows of rods that collapse down pretty small that we could put them in a suitcase. We are flying Frontier so we'd be checking baggage and a fly bag would cost me an extra $30. Would be cheaper to buy a cheapo after we get there and trash it when we leave. I have travel fishing rods that we can fit in luggage but just don't know about fly rods.

IMO - this seems like a lot to worry about to save just $30, on a trip that's going to be expensive anyway and certainly quite awesome. I know the principle is really hard to swallow, but I'd pay the $$ and take what's you're comfy wit hand not have to worry about it any more. You're not going to be able to pick up anything decent for much less.

Edit - if it's $30 each way, $60 total, it may change that mat ha little.
#1 reason I refuse to use Spirit etc, their business model is infuriating.
 
My fly rods are 4 piece and break down into ~2 1/4’ sections which get wrapped and stored in a rod tube for safety. I have a full fly rig setup in my trunk at all times in this condition.

If flying, carry-on the rod to make sure it stays intact.
 
depending on the fish you going to be trying to catch and what stream/river you can get a pretty decent glass setup for under 50 bucks i think off amazon. they are short 7' or 7'6" and slow but i think that makes it easier for a kid to learn and use you can feel it load up alot more compared to the modern fast action rods. @McCracken talked some junk about mine then ended up getting a similar glass rod after using mine one day. they are 4 pieces.

Well, found a smaller travel fly rod that broke down into a smaller case that will fit in a suitcase pretty easily. I really just kind of wanted something to teach my kids how to do it so they can say they fished out in Yellowstone. I'd like to take a couple whips too.
