Traxxas TORC Series in Charlotte

be sure to check out CRC's new place after/before the race....they just moved into the metrolina expo area and SHOULD have a few of their new rc tracks open.
 
Hey just a heads up guys. Word on the street is that this race might not happen. I've been told that two of the major $ponsor$ just pulled out for the 2010 season. Seems like all that sport does is hemorrhage money. If they'd all quite trying to be rock stars and just shut up and race it might last...

Don't get me wrong...I really hope it happens...I'll be there with the race car at the Maxxis tire booth so stop by.
 
Spoke with the Torq Traxxas people. They still intend on bringing the race to this area.. its just not going to be at MetrolinaSpeedandwtfever. <<not gonna happen.

Torc Traxxas series was just aquired by USAC and doesn't seeem to be short of any sponsors. ;) I'm helping those folks secure a venue for the slated May event that may actually push to June. Torc is very fired up about running more Pro and the Sportsman Class series in this region. They want to have a much greater presence in the East Coast Market than they have in the past. They love red clay and well, NC has plenty of that!

So. Stay tuned.

I want to see some off road stuff, tired of the roundy roundy.
