first let me state that this thread is not a "is tread wright good thread" I am currently running there warden ( all terrain) and love them.

I am in the market to buying tires for my mildly built jeep yj. I am wanting to run a tire that is around 35" tall, has descent road manners and pretty good off road traction. with the prices of tires now days (even used) got me to look into retreads for my jeep also. how is traction off road with the guard dogs?

I know a bunch of guys that run them on their JK's and love them. The only problem is they tend to stay on back order in the popular sizes!

I ran them on my TJ and my 06 Xterra... LOVED THEM!!! The Xterra was my wifes DD... I have a set for my HEEP!!!

I'm a huge fan of treadwright tires. I haven't had the ones you're talking about but I had what used to be called the D mud and they worked great fairly low noise for a Mt they also cleaned out very well.

I have them in 315/70r17, they are on BFG casings. Overall great tire, but until i rotated them they were LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how many miles are you guys putting on them? i've been reading and hesitant for about 2yrs . wife needs tires for her rodeo and i wanted their 33" 15's then they stopped making them.
