Just wanted to vent a little about treadwright tires. I've always thought highly of this company, nice tires and patterns at a attractive price point.
I placed a order on 3/3/17. Never received a tracking number. Over the period of 3/9/15- 3/15/17 I called daily and never could get the shipping dept to pick up the phone. Each day I would have to go through a different dept to find anyone that could find where my order was. The excuses changed each day. It started with "that's a common size we should have that in the warehouse and it should ship today" then it was the press is down it will be a few days. Last Friday I was told the tires were being made that day and shipping on Monday the 13th at the latest. Well today the 15th I call again as there is no tracking updated. I get told that the tires are being made and they will be done on Friday the 17th for shipment......so I proceeded to cancel my order.
"If" the tires did ship out on Friday it would have been 14+ business days to get my tires.
So much for saving a buck or two when your truck is down that much waiting for tires to arrive.
I give them a fail on customer service. The tires were never listed as back order or out of stock and still showing available on there site. I was never once apologized for the trouble and probably spent a total of three hours over the last week just trying to find someone to pickup the phone to ask about my order.
Lesson learned and treadwright will never see another one of my dollars.
Sorry for the rant, hopefully this saves someone a headache and wasted down time thinking they are saving a buck.
Should have done my homework. Google pops up a ton of the same stories with a BBB rating of a F.
