Living next to the mecca of mountain bike trails pretty much forces me to upgrade bikes. It's time to say farewell to an old reliable friend...

Selling my Trek Gary Fisher hardtail mountain bike. Size is XL. Fits my lanky 6'3" self perfectly.

I bought it new a few years ago and have put many great miles on it. As of last fall it has new Maxxis tires and a fresh tune up from The Hub in Brevard. Needs nothing but a new owner

$300

That’s a good deal! If I wasn’t using every penny I had on my build I’d be all over this bike. I miss my black diamond mongoose valiant, what are you upgrading to?

Dammit.

Why can't you ride a 19" frame?

Santa Cruz High Tower LT
Picked it up Monday and already loving it
I like that Hightower frame a lot! Santa Cruz makes it where their bikes come ready to give it all you can give I like that! I had to piece mine together, I bought the frame separate rox shocks front fox middle,Haynes disks, kore handle bar, max tires that beauty was a downhill bomber had more invested in that bike then my first truck! Glad ya got it sold, I Figured that would sell quick!

We live literally across the road from DuPont and about 5 minutes from Pisgah, so we ride quite a bit. We both do weekly group rides and then tear it up on the weekends and evenings.

Do they make Crocs with a firmer sole?

Wish I still had my bike that’s for sure! I still say croc martins would be your best bet for everyday wear...

Can we have an NC4x4 race on hooker creek at DuPont? Fastest to the bottom,... or to ridgeline....or hooker to the bottom of ridgeline:popcorn:

I just got a full face helmet and pads, ready to go fastererer.

@rockcity when you make it back to Hickory you need to ride the trail at the lake. Loads of fun and big guy friendly(no major climbs)

I’ll make it back soon and am always interested in new trails. A few high school friends head out there a lot and seem to enjoy it.

I’ll bring Bri so we have a medical professional on site, mostly for me.
