I will need new tires this summer. I am really leaning towards the GY Duratrac. I have read great reviews on them. I have had Maxxis Bighorns in the past and really liked them. My yota will be 90% highway.

Has anybody run the trepador radials? I will be staying with a 31" tire and have read the BS on pirate about them being really soft. What kind of life would they typically get on a light truck?

Havent ever ran treps, I wheel with a few guys running the duratrac and have been blown away with how well they do offroad, but still wear very slow and ride great on the highway.

I ran the radial Treps and I liked them. I wouldn't say they were soft like others are saying. They ran great on the road and the little off-road I did they worked good. My two main problems with them were they were super heavy and the fact that they were directional and had a tendency to cup. Since they are directional you can't turn them around to counteract the cupping. My BFG Krawlers which were almost identical in size are almost 40 lbs lighter per tire. It made my Jeep drive like a totally different Jeep when I got them mounted.
