Decided to change the trooper around a little. Have made some good progress. The drive train is moved back 10" from stock and whats left of the cab is back 12". The wheel base is about 118" now.

badass rig man!!

fuckin gnarly man. I really dig the rear tube work

Those tires look damn small next to that chassis.

They are extremely worn 38 TSL's. We compared them to my 37 mt/r's today and they are the same if not a little shorter......(and my mt/r's arent even brand new!). Before its said and done the trooper will most likely be on 42's with a 60 front........at least thats what im trying to talk him into

Why to I need a 60 to run 42s? :flipoff2:

Until I run accross a good deal these 38s are going to stay. Still have alot of work to do before I can turn them over anyway. Right now they rust role a few yards a couple times a week.

nice gas tank placement..lol jk

that things gotta looooong nose. looks good though.

with the winch mount and other crap up front, it would be a PITA to shorten the front end. its still got awesome approach angle, except maybe for the stinger, but still nice. put a coil sprung rear end on that bad boy for awesome departure angle, and its good to go.

Nice work though.

holy rear shackles batman!

since it's a trial only rig why not go with an elliptical setup or coils?

Whats wrong with my rear shackles? 3/8s flat bar 7" long, they will take any beating I give them.
Who said its a trail only rig? I plan on driving it around because I can.

Quarry has a nice sloppy mud going on this weekend. Want to test it out next weekend or later this week. Give me a call, Hopefully by then my jeep will be back together

Its still a ways off before its finished. There are alot of little details to take care of. I wouldnt mind taking it out there when its all done though.
