Hey guys,
I have a question about a grinding nv3550 in my 2000 tj. Whenever I tried shifting into 2nd gear, it would grind like it wasn't syncronized (had to rev the engine up to 3000 rpm to shift into gear). 2nd was the only gear that would do this. But, when I looked inside her, there was no signs of grinding (though for the past year and a half it was) So my question is, what would cause this to happen (linkage, worn bushings, etc)? The brass rings looked new, as well as the gears, and there wasn't an excessive amount of shavings in the fluid????
