Trout 4-13

Hit the road at 4:15am to make it to the stream at 645. Fished 12 hours SOLID. Probaly should have waited a bit as the trout didnt get turned on until 9-10. Caught 26 total, missed 4-5 had 1 19-20" break off. Fished Three Top, Big Horse, N. Fork of the New and Helton in Ashe Co. Decided to keep 5, 1-19", 1-18", 1-16". And I practiced C&R on the biggest, 21" Rainbow out of the New. Sharp fins and thin, definitely not a stocker from this year at least. Best fight I have had in a while.

Used mainly spinner but the 21" hit a #6 Rapala. Pics.
