First, is allowing buying insurance across state lines. That's good. Free market and everything. Don't think it will really change pricing, though, for NC customers. Maybe other states.

Second, he is killing the cost sharing subsidies (copay and deductibles, apparently NOT the premium tax credit (yet)). That's good. But damn, it's going to hurt a lot of people. I'm still in favor of it, though. At least thru taxes, I won't be paying my share of those subsidies (of course, under Obama's plan, nobody was going to pay that, just run up national debt, let future generations pay it off).

News was talking about how killing the subsidies was going to increase the national debt. I fail to see how cutting $7B in 2018 and $10B by 2020 in gov payments to insurance companies will add to the debt.
