Truxus sts

If you've already ordered a set then why ask if they're good now. Wouldn't it have done you good to ask this before you ordered them? Anyway, from the few guys I know who run them out west, off-road they are basically only good in sand. The rest is show.

I got rid of a set of them things off of my tj, sorry to say but i didnt like them, they didnt clean out , you couldnt get em balanced well, they wobbled at over 60 mph, only 31"s didnt like em.

No good for trail, street, or mud. Only decent purpose is sand or alot of truck-pull guys use them in the dirt.

I was pretty happy with the set I had. I ran 38x15's on my old half ton ram. They lasted more than 29,000 miles. Mine didn't have any trouble ballancing and they rode great. I really cant say much for how they do offroad. IMO the are a good street tire.

I ran a set of STS 33x12.5 for about 20K miles. 80MPH they were fine.
Great on sand and rocks. Not so much in mud.
My problem is that the sipes are shallower in the center of the tire. By 20K miles wet traction was almost non-existent.
Also, to keep tread wear even across the tread, you have to run them at 20 pounds for daily driving.

Now, the TRXUS MT is another story. I am on my third set. I love them. Not a high mileage wear tire either. But great on and off road. The best on road wet traction of any mus terrain tire. Great in New England snow, rocks, mus and sand. This was my first NC winter. I was stunned by how little it takes to shut everything down. Ha!

ok i had a set of 33x12.50-15 on a toyota and i liked them they balanced good and they wear good. as far as muddin goes for them to be a sorry mud tire i must be one hell of a driver cause i never got stuck with these tires! overall a good tire:flipoff2:
