I don't know what you mean by TTB. But I would caution against putting a locker in a D35 if you are referring to a Dana 35. The axles are extremely weak in the D35 and locking it just exacerbates the issue.

As for your question about Aussie locker, they are extremely easy to install. Ex-specially if you have stock gears you shouldn't have to even pull the carrier.

I put a lock right in the front of my old FS Bronco with the TTB D44.

It has been several years, but I am guessing that you are refering to the clip that holds the small stub shaft sticking out of the passenger side of the carrier housing. I left the clip out. It allowed the short shaft to float/slide out of the housing, but I never had a problem with it. I wheeled it like that for about 2 years, and it was a street driven wheeling rig at the time.

Twin Traction Beam
Front suspension used on Ford trucks in the 80's and 90's.

Thanks! In that case never mind what I said about D35 I'm guessing the front Ford axle is completly different from the rear D35 jeep uses.

I got this from the Aussie website -

"For front Dana 35TTB locker installations, after ordering, send a note to customerservice@aussielocker.com requesting the supplemental Dana 35TTB installation manual. This supplement covers some unique installation requirements in the TTB front differential."

It may help if decide to go with an Aussie.

That is just a confusing 5 year old forum post with outdated part #s from RRORC. NO HELP AT ALL! The c-clip is all I'm hung up on.

Looks like an awesome piece. I'm sure it will do awesome, if I can get it in.

Does your B2 have the two-piece hubs?

If it does, I would not lock it.

If it doesn't... I'd think very hard about doing it. The guy's comment above about weak shafts applies to you somewhat as well, except that you also have a slip spline and an extra u-joint to worry about.

Thanks jovibuilt. That was way better than the link Aussie Locker sent.

It was, that marking was from the first shim. Got it set right on the third try. Aluminum housing is a pain! Thanks for looking out for me.
