So I bought this tubing bender from Brian at Carolina Shooters and his junk sale. I have always wanted to try my hand at some bending so I picked up some 1.25 x .120 HREW and went at it like a senior on prom night.
It is just a simple light bar, but don't let it's demur looks fool you. Bending tubing while getting angles correct and legs parallel is as hard as Alaskan hot dogs.
It has a mount tab made from 1/8th x 1.5" flat bar and it runs the length of the top for more options than Tom Brady at a dinner party.
I am pretty happy with the result. I plan to hang two 6" off road yankee blinding retina destroyers on it soon for when the quaint little imports forget to dim their headlights on my midnight ice cream runs to Wallywhirl.
Adds a little sumpin' sumpin to Brutus without looking like a JC Whitney Chinese reject. Next up? Some full length tube sliders for the sides so I can get into the tool box to get stuff to help wayward Chebbies.
