Tundra armor courtesy of MarsFab
After selling the MJ back in the fall I picked up a clean '02 Tundra with the 4.7L V8, 4wd, TRD, SR5 to use as a daily driver. The truck had a 2.5" lift on the front via adjustable Bilstein 5100 shocks, matching Bilstein 5100 rear shocks, a 1" rear block and set of 285/75/16 Nittos wrapped around Pro-Comp 8069 black alloy wheels.
I drove it like this for a while but like any truck I've owned I couldn't leave it alone. There is hardly any aftermarket support for 1st Gen Tundra's out there so I contacted Chris at MarsFab and after brainstorming and trading emails for a few weeks I dropped the truck off with him for a week to build custom front bumper, rock sliders, and rear bumper.
Here's the results.....needless to say I was MORE THAN PLEASED! He did a great job and is very easy to work with.
Front bumper houses a XRC8 winch.
Rear bumper prior to trimming the lower quarters and paint.
